Calendula is an annual plant with yellow-orange terminal inflorescence. Originally from Asia and South Europe, it was introduced into traditional medicine during the 12th century, in Central Europe and the Mediterranean. In traditional medicine it was used for biliary and intestinal disorders.
Chemical composition: triterpenoid saponins based on oleanolic acid derivatives glucuronosyl: carotenoids including lycopene, neolicopina A rubixantina, lutein, Xanthophyll, violaxantine, flavoxantina, crizantemaxantina etc and some poliine; flavonoids and flavonoid glycosides: 3-ramnoglicozizi isorhamnetin, rutinozizi and quercetin derivatives; volatile oil (about 0.02%), bitter substances with undefined structure, gumirezine, mucilage, cholesterol esters of lauric acid, myristic, palmitic and margaric; vitamin C, malic acid, protein substances.
Actions: emollient, scarring, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, toning and regenerating skin tissue.
Recommendations and usage:
- burns, ulcerations, scars: apply in the form of washing and compressions 2-3 times a day;
- soothes and toning the skin: apply in the form of washing and compressions 2-3 times a day.
Ingredients/100ml: fluid calendula (Calendula officinalis) extract in sunflower oil (1:9) 99.964; tocoferol.
Does not contain artificial colorants or allergenic substances. Quantity: 50 mlWarning: children under 12 years old, pregnancy and breastfeeding, never administer for longer than 8 continuous weeks. Stop administering the product in case of allergic reaction.
