All the aerial parts of the nettle plant have stinging elements.
The word "urtica", part of the plants scientific name, is derives from the Latin verb “urere” which means "to burn" due to the burns that appear at the touch of the stalk or leaves and the term, dioica ' ' means, ' two houses ' ' and it is because the nettle has unisexual-dioice flowers.
Known since ancient times, the nettle appears in traditional African medicine where it was inhaled as snuff in nosebleeds and heavy menstrual flow..Native Americans used nettle tea to stop post-birth uterine bleeding. In traditional medicine nettle was considered to be one of the main sources of iron and mineral salts, essential for the organism. It was used in anemia, asthenia, demineralization and convalescence.
Nettle contains protein and glucidic substances, sterols, volatile oil, acetic acid, formic acid, histamine, vitamins A, B2, C and K, mineral salts.
Actions: anti-rheumatic, healing, epithelisant, revulsive, astringent, antiseptic, antimicrobial.
Recommendations and usage:
- rheumatism, arthritic pain: apply in the form of compressions 2-3 times a day;
- reduces hemorrhoidal discomfort: apply in the form of washing, 2 times a day;
- stops bleeding (hemostatic effect): apply in the form of compressions, when needed;
- maintains scalp health and stops hair loss: apply in the form of washing;
- infectious and allergic eczema: apply in the form of compressions for 30 minutes, 2-3 times a day.

Does not contain artificial colorants or allergenic substances.
